What Summerville is built from
Inland up the Ashley, twenty-odd miles from the harbour, where Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston counties meet. An old railroad and resort town with a Victorian core of frame houses under pines, wrapped in a very large amount of subdivision building from the 1990s onward, on lots several times the size of anything on the peninsula.

Two things, and the first is the move itself.
